Performances by:

Mel Harris is a comedian, actor, writer, host and comedy show producer. Known for his over the top freestyle comedy and lively stage presence and the ability to make audiences just love him. In just a little over a decade in the comedy world the Philly native has performed all across the United States, from New York to L.A., even leaving the country in 2019 to do a run of shows in Cancun, Mexico. Currently Mel can be found producing/hosting multiple monthly comedy shows in his hometown of Philadelphia while still hitting stages, most notably in Atlantic City where he performs regularly at the Tropicana and the Claridge Hotel and Casino. His credits include Punchline Comedy Club (Philla.), The Hardrock Cafe (Philla.), Broadway Comedy Club, and Caroline's.

Jennifer Blaine (creator) has been performing solo shows for 25+ years. Her original works delve into serious and socially relevant issues and provide audiences the opportunity to unite in laughter. She’s opened for George Carlin and performed with Chris Rock and Joe Piscopo. The Philadelphia Daily News says “her comic genius is like Lily Tomlin and Tracey Ullman.” She has performed in every Philadelphia FringeArts for the festival’s first decade. Some of her 15 FringeArts works include Sorry, White Flight, Hearing Voices, and Ridiculous, which asked the audience to end the patriarchy once and for all.

Marcely Jean-Pierre is a Philly-based comedian, improviser, writer, and sketch performer from Willingboro, New Jersey. His silly takes on serious issues and serious takes on the silly make Marcely's comedic style a unique blend of intellect and playfulness."

Sarah Renee Mohtes-Chan is a queer, Chinese American, Jewish stand up comedian from California who is proud to call Philly home for the past 7 years. Sarah Renee has performed shows with XRoads Comedy, Fringe Festival, and many open mics around the city. Her diverse identities and occasional feelings of tragic sadness inspire much of her comedy.

James B. Knight is a Philadelphia-based stand-up comic and writer. He has studied and taught sketch and improv at Philly Improv Theater (PHIT Comedy) and Crossroads Comedy Theater, as well as studied at the Upright Citizens Brigade. Currently, James is the head video producer & writer with Philadelphia’s premier all POC sketch group, NYTE Shift Comedy. He also regularly performs with Philadelphia’s longest-running, award-winning short-form improv group, The N Crowd.
